Author: Baron Jean-Michel

Who am I? A physician, scientist, inventor, philosopher, poet, sculpture, friend, lover, partner, father, adventurer. All of these and more. Life is a wonderful sojourn in a miraculous, universal theatre with comedy and tragedy, where the unexpected is in all ways just ahead. A play where each can choose to be an active, conscious participant or simply a sleeping bit player. A play where perhaps one can attain permanence and return again and again to the Great Play joined with his or her matched half, or die like a dirty dog in the streets of Cairo. A play where an awakened couple can bring relief to the less enlightened players by decreasing unnecessary suffering. A play which delights in finding persons with magnetic centers and a thirst for life eternal. A play which has been and will remain center-stage for a very long time.

Type II-Dreamtime(part 1)

As discussed earlier, enlightenment cannot be fully appreciated, understood, nor appropriately applied in mundane life until an aspirant has first tasted the peach of immortality and the bitter pear of the human condition.  The Buddhists often refer to this event as "entering into the stream." … Continue reading Type II-Dreamtime(part 1)

Type II Reality

Today, we continue our discussion of the several types of mental realities (or realizations) found in human beings.  Yesterday, we dealt with pseudo-physical or type I reality. i.e., the virtual 'physical' world experienced by each of us.  This virtual world is created by the central … Continue reading Type II Reality

REALITIES v. ACTUALITY

Type I Reality: Dear Friends,  for the next few posts, I shall address the difference between what is called reality and that which is Actual. Enlightenment

People spend endless hours trying to describe the 'state of enlightenment' and failing to reach common agreement.  In a sense, the situation is similar to trying to describe the taste of a perfectly prepared chocolate souffle served with Creme Anglaise to another.  To succeed, one … Continue reading Enlightenment
