Mystical Dates of Jesus’ Birth and Transition (Part 2)
05/18/18
In both Occidental and Indo-Aryan metaphysics the most auspice time of the year to be born is just after the Winter Solstice (Dec 21 – 23). For this is the day which has the shortest duration of daylight hours. The daylight portion of each day increases gradually until it reaches the Summer Solstice (June 20-22) , which is the longest and most intensely solar day of the year in the Northern Hemisphere.
As the Sun Cycle was of extreme importance to the ancients, they considered ones birth auspicious if it occurred shortly after the Winter Solstice, but before the Summer Solstice. For during this time the Rays of the Sun are growing stronger and stronger. Analogously, the Divine Effulgence followed the material intensity of the Sun, as Image or as god.
As the moon was often seen as the mate or companion of the Sun, or was considered as a the Night Time Sun, the auspicious time of birth would be during the new moon, or the period of time when the waning crescent is not visible with the naked eye and before the waxing crescent is identifiable. This period is somewhat variable, but is normally between 32 to 42 hours. For the new moon corresponds spiritually to the Winter Solstice.
Therefore, birth between the new moon and the full moon is most favorable.
Contrarily, being born after the new moon begins to wane and after Summer Solstice was considered most unfavorable.
Therefore, to be metaphysically proper, Jesus would have to have been born close to the new moon and after the onset of Winter Solstice. Moreover, the scriptures suggest that when he was crucified he was around 34 years old and born during the reign of Herod the Great.
Using this information, the most reasonable date is discovered by looking for years in which a new moon occurred close to Winter Solstice approximately 34 years before his physical transition. Studying moon phase calendars the new moon, we have two choices: [1] 17:58 hr on December 26, 1 BCE or 07:28 hr on December 21, 6 BCE. Winter Solstice occurred on December 22 at 11:17 hr in 1 BCE and at 18:15 hr on December 23, 6 BCE. King Herod died between 4 – 1 BCE.
Based upon Matthew and Luke, my personal preference is that Jesus was born on December 27, 1 BCE at sunrise which occurred around 0700 hr in Bethlehem. This satisfies all metaphysical restraints, after Winter Solstice, at the new moon, and at sunrise.
But, if we exclude any reference to Herod, which I think is a fabricated story where Herod = Pharaoh and Jesus = Moses, I think his birth at sunrise on December 23, 6 BCE is also possible. No one knows Jesus’ age at Crucifixion.
The actual year is not so important, but being born after the new moon and Winter Solstice is most important in my eyes, if Jesus was the human vehicle to hold the Christ Consciousness and Heart. For such birth times are often mentioned for Divine children.
