Experiential Evolution of an Individual Soul (B)

In this series of posts, many concepts and teachings have been held in abeyance until such time as a seeker has understood the early by personal verification. The best method for instilling esoteric concepts is to return to first concepts again and again so to expand them. This is the original method used for millenniums by the Rosicrucian Order.

Today, we review briefly what was discussed yesterday and in previous postings as the creation of a permanent Soul-Personality by an individual under his or her Divine right of free-choice to operate under the Laws of God or the Laws of Nature. Then, we move onto a forthright discussion of the proper understanding of the objectified term, the Master Within.

I hope that all of you understand that man is a curious creature, as he is neither an automaton nor an immortal soul, but an unusual creature instilled with a modicum degree of choice and so provides the Universe with greater potential as far as moving the Universe closer to the Godhead.
By our evolutionary nature, we are still primates operating under the laws of nature. Each animal needs do only three things to perpetuate itself and its species: ensure personal security, ingest sufficient food and water, and procreate. Nothing more.

As man is slightly more than ‘just animal,’ man possesses the knowledge that actions exist in a physical world ruled by time and space. Man senses the law of causality and has learned how to naturally employ such law to his or her personal animal advantage. Man believes that his or her actions are actions involving free choice. Though in truth, this is rather rare. All of our actions are automatically generated by unconscious processing of data/memory so to release habitual behavioral patterns which appear protective or advantageous. When nature generated the first conscious minds, such minds came with an innate tendency to falsely subscribe to such conscious will and volition. I call this innate ascribing of self-choice the fallacy of retrograde attribution.

The belief that we can allow or veto an action in a particular situation and change a habit by effort for the future is sufficient. For even a mainly false belief, as to intentionality and accountability, can be used in those rare circumstances when a man truly does veto his or her innate or learned response and allows a new response to act in his or her world. A good example is Jesus’ advice to turn the other cheek or love your enemy.

Matthew 5:39 But I tell you not to resist an evil person. But whoever slaps you on your right cheek, turn the other to him also. (NKJV)

Matthew 5:43-48 43 “You have heard that it was said, ‘You shall love your neighbor and hate your enemy.’ 44 But I say to you, love your enemies, bless those who curse you, do good to those who hate you, and pray for those who spitefully use you and persecute you, 45 that you may be sons of your Father in heaven; for He makes His sun rise on the evil and on the good, and sends rain on the just and on the unjust. 46 For if you love those who love you, what reward have you? Do not even the tax collectors do the same? 47 And if you greet your brethren only, what do you do more than others? Do not even the tax collectors do so? 48 Therefore you shall be perfect, just as your Father in heaven is perfect. (NKJV)

Whenever a man or woman experiences a momentary awakening, at such moments, he or she finds himself or herself in a ‘conscious state of true freedom.’ In such state, an awakened man or woman will choose to veto his or her normal response and substitute a more wholesome and appropriate response. The later response is just as automatic and just as invisible to conscious observation as the usual response (I call these ‘stimulus-evaluated-response patterned activities,’ or SERPAs).

The sole conscious option open to us in any compelling circumstance arousing a habitual SERPA is to VETO and SUBSTITUTE. Nothing more–even for the ‘Mother of God.’

I find the above to be the most curious and most amazing MIRACLE imaginable. Imagine, all God had to DO, so to provide near infinite possibilities for the development of new psychomaterial Universes, was to include a possibility that a creature will evolve the ability to say NO to an unwholesome action and YES to substituting a more wholesome action.

For spiritual growth and conscious evolution of our soul-personalities would not have been possible without Nature’s presentation of creatures possessing personal and societal belief in the fallacy of retrograde attribution. For such growth requires a person to understand the fallacy of retrograde attribution and how such can be used so to find the most narrow gate where true intentionality resides. I find this to be the greatest example of the evolutionary principle of exaptation.

I am going to pause here, as my mind is so overwhelmed by the realization of the absolute genius underlying another of God’s Greatest Miracles, that I must not say more. I want all of you to understand what has been given to you for if you fail to do so, you may not awaken.
