Poems of the Heart Series (1)

Happy Yuletide everyone!

May we all share this ancient holiday season of love and thankfulness with our truest friends and functional family members.  Still, we must not forget that the Yuletide  Holidays are not joyful for those without friends or family, have very limited finances or are homeless, are incarcerated, or dealing with, or, are severely ill. Perhaps, you and your family already contribute acts of goodwill to these unfortunate brothers and sisters, or will do so this year.  Every act of goodwill done from your most inner heart will bear good fruit.

As Jesus commented upon the widow’s two mites, Luke 21:1 (KJV),

21 And He looked up and saw the rich putting their gifts into the treasury, and He saw also a certain poor widow putting in two mites.  So He said,“Truly I say to you that this poor widow has put in more than all; for all these out of their abundance have put in offerings for God, but she out of her poverty put in all the livelihood that she had.”

In honor of the holiday season, I have decided to ‘lighten-up’ challenging your cognitive functions, and start a new series called, Poems of the Heart Series.  These will continue for sometime, while, I review a new set of books dealing with different concepts of the infinite in physical sciences, mathematics, and the metaphysical.  I promise you will be challenged and delighted with a new approach.

Recipe for Our Home

Take plenty of love and good cheer,
Mix well with warm cupfuls of kindness.
Add chunks of family and friends.
Add a pinch of adoration.
Season with dashes of laughter.
Whip until fluffy stiff,
filled with God’s goodness,
Fold into the sweet mixture,
until you have all just perfect.
Serve often, in summer and winter,
For this is our Home.

Feel free to share my poems. but, do give credit where credit is due.

Blessings, Michael
