Greetings, Dear Friends,
As promised, I will share my early life history with you. I rarely share my early memoirs, but humanity’s future is precarious, necessitating a modification in my life’s journey. It is far outside the standard societal boxes. However, it is not inconsistent with the sacred history of the human species.
An old saying is, “The wise can lead a seeker to the fountain of enlightenment, but it is their choice to drink or not.”
My essence friend Gurdjieff was asked once, “Why do I have to make my soul? Established religions claim God gives us a permanent one.”
As I was visiting with his group, he said, “Ezer-el, I think you should answer this one as you are more substantial than me.”
He and I laughed, but the group had no idea why his comment was so humorous.
I told the student, “Mara, or Lucifer, as you call him, labours to trick you into believing the most foolish things. We all know the value of gold is more than silver and copper because it is much rarer and difficult to find. Everyone here would tell me a human soul is more valuable than gold because it grants a person an afterlife.”
The students nodded affirmatively.
“Mara’s job is to make people believe this nonsense, which feeds into their vanities. And vanity is a destroyer of seeking enlightenment. A genuine seeker must understand that egoism and selfishness are only of the material world, not the altruism and generosity of the divine realms.
“The Divine uses Mara and Lucifer to cull sentient creatures to not overburden spiritual teachers. Rather brilliant, I would say.”
The students were quiet as they had no idea how to respond.
Finally, a proper young lady asked, “Ezer-el, why do the churches not teach what you teach.”
“Darling, why would you think theologians are less vain and foolish than the general population? They are not, but the belief is good for business.”
“If we survey human history, spiritual teachers have arisen throughout remembered time, providing teachings suitable for the evolutionary level of humanity. Generally, the content of such teachings comprises the foundation stones, or scripture, for every succeeding religion. And I have never met a person who denied the truth of what I just said.
“And much of the time, the primary spiritual teachers are said to be Divine: saviours, gods, goddesses, angels and so on. Brother Christ is an excellent example.
“So, it does appear that Divinity has some interest in evolving sentient creatures to higher states of being using the incarnation of sentient beings far superior in knowledge to humanity.”
So, perhaps my memoirs are not as unlikely as people may think.
