Second Teaching—The Mistake of Man

Second Teaching—The Mistake of Man

[Radha] Holy Father, what evil lies at the heart-root of humankind so to cause him to behave unwholesomely?

[Father] Come sit next to me, and I shall tell you and Krishna, my darling.

[Setting] Radha goes to sit next to Father. Krishna stays where he is.

[Father]

Oh, son of Adam, daughter of Eve,

corporeal children of an evolutionary process,

the self-proclaimed pinnacle of Mother Natura,

slayer of brothers, sisters, fathers, and mothers,

your vanity, an evil, self-risen spire lording over Gaia.

Oh, son of Adam, daughter of Eve,

unseeing, ignorant, proud, defiant, ruthless,

bound still by tight, bloodied chains

forged by blind allegiance to group-think,

your blood-lust, crucifying your inner divinity daily.

Oh, son of Adam, daughter of Eve,

reveling in the pigsty of unwholesome action,

heeding not the persistent song of Godliness,

taking up not the sword of personal responsibility,

your forfeiture, attaining to the eternal holiness, incarnate within.

Oh, son of Adam, daughter of Eve,

an unworthy speck of circumferential nonsense,

you mistake the circle center as home,

Proclaiming! I am God,

your reward, dying as a hungry, mangey dog.

Oh, son of Adam, daughter of Eve,

all beings arose from out of the quaternary,

physical matter, simple cells, complex creatures, pure awareness.

See you this not?

Have the words of the deceiver cut out your heart?

Oh, son of Adam, daughter of Eve,

remain as you now are,

a zombie-machine sired by evolutionary impulse,

close tight, bolt shut, the door to pure Godliness,

and your species will be as if it never was,

so sayeth Father Temu to Mother Nun.
