Observations On Federal Inmates

I had a unique opportunity to observe and interact with a segment of the incarcerated male and female population of the federal bureau of prisons. The sample population represents the most reliable inmates.

From my psychiatric observations, I believe that the major indicators for being in prison are dull normal intellect [IQ 80-90] coupled with significant personality disorders [50-80%].

Secondary aggravators being: (1) absence of a father growing up. (2) poor socialization, (3) disregard for the rights of others, (4) needing the attention of others, (5) poor self-worth, and (6) basic disrespect of rules.

Nothing earth shatteting.

Especially, disheartening is that the BOP will not segregate the basically honest and nonviolent inmates, who are clearly able to be rehabilitated, from those recidivist inmates who are no more than broken machines.

It seems that prison is meant to be punitive rather than corrective. The goal of the DOJ is more notches upon their six-shooters rather than making sure no innocent persons are incarcerated.

It is your country and friends who are prosecuted for notches — your turn will come one day just as it did in Germany in the late 1930s.
