Commentary: Much of what is included herein is in the form of a metaphor–something which resonates and corresponds with what is Actual, as discussed earlier. And the greatest Actuality is Pure Love itself. Pay attention and you will see the power of Love–towards objects in the world or towards God. One defeats and the other leads to victory. Blessings.
Ninth Teaching (II) – The Pure And The Divine
So my love-smitten protégée,
I shall tell you my tale of old,
when I was pierced by Lord Kamadeva
and rediscovered your Holy Mother.
I was a young adventurer,
an inquirer after truth,
a protégée as yourself and somewhat naive.
Still young and not quite sure,
untried in love, a hopeful, fledgling dove,
with princely dreams of damsels pure,
untold riches found in hidden treasure troves.
Witches and ogres and dark, black knights,
minions of the devils orgiastic spawns,
brave heart, good versus evil to fight,
resting not, night’s fall til light of dawn.
Dreaming of my darling true,
in morning’s sunlight I did stroll,
through a fairy’s meadow, delightful allure,
my eyes did spy a lady clad in long camisole .
An elfin maiden, tall and fair,
blue-grey cat’s eyes had she,
long flowing waves of golden blonde hair,
silk clad arms reaching out to me.
One glance took I,
one touch of her soft hand,
one look into her starry eyes,
and I knew she was my fertile land.
Her glowing beauty had cast it’s spell,
I knelt down, withdrawing a golden ring,
I took her hand in mine, my heart’s love did tell,
placing the ring onto her finger, she did hear my heart sing.
Marry me, dear Elf Princess,
be my Muse, my Calliope, my lover eternal,
She whispered, my Poet, my Elf Prince,
I have always been yours, my lover internal.
You need wait no more, dearest Love,
you found your Calliope, at long last,
I shall be wife, mother and your sweet Dove,
come bed me, here, as in our times long past.
And so my tale is your tale, Son of Adam.
Listen well and choose well, Son,
for Love is a Power with many faces.
Faces ugly with greed,
faces ugly with self-aggrandizement, and
faces ugly with selfish desire.
Such faces born but once.
There is the love of the servant for the good master,
there is the love shared between essence friends,
there is the love of the student for his teacher,
there is the love of the child for parent,
there is the love of the parent for child,
all such loves enjoyed by God.
But, the greatest love of all loves,
is that of Krishna and his consort Radha,
two being one and one being two eternally.
Such love forming the Bliss Body
of a Buddha and Consort
locked in Divine Intercourse.
And from Bliss and Truth emanates pure consciousness,
soul-seeds to fertilize the mind and intellect
of human creatures in every new universe.
Remember well this teaching, Son.
