Djinn Metatheology (38.3)
January 22
After a small break, everyone was back in the library. Eleanor had fallen asleep and so Morgana had carried her off to bed and was now back in her normal chair. Merlin said, “I find it most interesting that we, who came into being initially by the creative imaginations of human storytellers, is now functioning independent of them. Perhaps, Gabriel will explain this to us one day?”
Sophie responded, “Gabriel once explained that the Astral Realms hold all the possibilities for any universe to manifest given a proper temporal sequence of prior actualizations of the Universal Wave Function. Without going ‘mathematical,’ Gabriel meant that our universe came into existence prepossessing an almost infinite set of world lines diverging outward from its physical birth and eventually converging onto the physical birth of the next universe.
“Each world line representing a different narrative account of the sum of those physical and astral histories previously activated. Many of these narratives apply solely to the aphysical planes, such as Camelot and the multitude of world mythoi. Therefore, mankind did not create Camelot, mankind only allowed Camelot and its inhabitants so to actualize within the Astral Worlds accessible to the conjoint Astral Mind.”
Merlin answered, “Brief, but understandable. Thank you, Sophie.”
Alliona noted, “I think the Work of the Holy Family is much more extensive than any of us believe or understand. If fact, this Work may even be beyond the Holy Family and the answer lies solely with the Unfathomable Source without all creative universes. It would be nice to talk about this one day.”
“Good questions, but we need to stay the course for the moment. Now, the third significant difference between Biblical Dogma and the Djinn Holy Canon concerns our celebration of the ‘original goodness’ that a newborn creature is born into. We have no spiritual concept of an ‘original sin’ committed by the ‘first man and woman.’
“A sin so heinous that the Holy Family would mandate punishment onto all succeeding generations, as is highlighted in the first book of the Jewish Torah arising from the disobedience of a hypothetical Adam and Eve. Specifically, Genesis 3 (Darby Translation),
‘11 And he said, Who told thee that thou art naked? Hast thou eaten of the tree of which I commanded thee not to eat?
12 And Man said, The woman, whom thou hast given [to be] with me, she gave me of the tree, and I ate.
13 And Jehovah Elohim said to the woman, What is this thou hast done? And the woman said, The serpent deceived me, and I ate.
14 And Jehovah Elohim said to the serpent, Because thou hast done this, be thou cursed above all cattle, and above every beast of the field. On thy belly shalt thou go, and eat dust all the days of thy life.
15 And I will put enmity between thee and the woman, and between thy seed and her seed; he shall crush thy head, and thou shalt crush his heel.
16 To the woman he said, I will greatly increase thy travail and thy pregnancy; with pain thou shalt bear children; and to thy husband shall be thy desire, and he shall rule over thee.
17 And to Adam he said, Because thou hast hearkened to the voice of thy wife, and eaten of the tree of which I commanded thee saying, Thou shalt not eat of it: cursed be the ground on thy account; with toil shalt thou eat [of] it all the days of thy life;
18 and thorns and thistles shall it yield thee; and thou shalt eat the herb of the field.
19 In the sweat of thy face shalt thou eat bread, until thou return to the ground: for out of it wast thou taken. For dust thou art; and unto dust shalt thou return.
20 And Man called his wife’s name Eve; because she is the mother of all living.
21 And Jehovah Elohim made Adam and his wife coats of skin, and clothed them.
22 And Jehovah Elohim said, Behold, Man is become as one of us, to know good and evil. And now, lest he stretch out his hand, and take also of the tree of life, and eat, and live for ever …!
23 Therefore Jehovah Elohim sent him forth from the garden of Eden, to till the ground from which he was taken.
24 And he drove out Man; and he set the Cherubim, and the flame of the flashing sword, toward the east of the garden of Eden, to guard the way to the tree of life.’
Such sin being reiterated after King David fornicated with Bath-sheba in Psalm 51-5, ‘Behold, in iniquity was I brought forth, and in sin did my mother conceive.’
“The Djinn Holy Canon fails to acknowledge the existence of a primordial Garden, as recorded in the written Bereshis or Genesis. The Djinn are taught that the evolution of life, in our original universe, was a product of nature and the evolutionary imperative instilled within the first living seeds so to move from single cells to consciously aware Djinn. Moreover, life was inherently good, as life was the only Path to Integration with the Holy Spirit. Such goodness, remaining untainted and uncorrupted by natural catastrophes and the normal struggles for survival and reproductive advantage.
“However, if one reads biblical scripture from an evolutionary standpoint, consistent with Djinn Canon, the Garden represents the fertile Earth as a wondrous habitat providing food and shelter to the many animals living together without the interference of an animal possessing ‘self-awareness’ and ‘egoism.’ As soon as self-awareness and egoism were born, symbolized by the eating of the Apple, an intelligent, but unwise, creature came into being so to disrupt the natural harmony of the living biosphere. Such disruptive behavior requiring the he and she be expelled from the bliss of unawareness.
“Expelled or not, the doctrine of original goodness is reexpressed each and every time a child is born into the physical universe. For every normal baby is born without egoism and self-awareness. A baby cannot be selfish, greedy, or power-seeking. When they are warm and fed, they sleep with smiles upon their faces. When not disturbed, babies are in an unperturbed state of simple peace, simple joy, and contented well-being.
This inner state of simple joy, simple peace, simple clarity, and well-beingness, the state of being-centered in the Kingdom of Heaven Within, was taught to the Djinn and to Mankind by the Christ when He said, in Matthew 10 (Darby Translation),
‘13 And they brought little children to him that he might touch them. But the disciples rebuked those that brought [them].
14 But Jesus seeing [it], was indignant, and said to them, Suffer the little children to come to me; forbid them not; for of such is the kingdom of God.
15 Verily I say to you, Whosoever shall not receive the kingdom of God as a little child, shall in no wise enter into it.
16 And having taken them in his arms, having laid his hands on them, he blessed them.
“As the Djinn lack any concept of original sin, there was no need to create a story that a member of the Holy Family was born as a Djinn so to be crucified so to atone for any original disobedience. Such a story became a necessity for Mankind after the Jews wantonly attempted to kill the Christ by Crucifixion and blaming the Roman authorities for doing so.
“But, that is a story for the future,” concluded Lydia.
