Chapter 10: The Reason For Our Visit To Tiberias

After discussion of the parable, I explained why we were going to teach in Tiberias, a primary pagan city founded by Herod Antipas, son of Herod the Great, some five or six years earlier, “Some philosophers from Alexandria are in residence and I would like to explain my mission in terms they will understand.

“This is important for the establishment of a Strong and Livig Holy Church whose function will be to disperse and evolve our Teachings throughout this world in the years after our departures. To enhance the probability of our success, I need to create a philosophical and theological link between the Hellenist Schools and ourselves.

“This segment of our Holy Work explains why I chose literate disciples able to understand philosophy, ethics, mathematics, astronomy, and the geopolitical systems oppressing the peasant and displaced artisans and labors. Persons born outside the Sadducees, Pharisees, and other privileged classes. Ones having seen and experienced the oppression I speak about first hand.

“Again, I reiterate that our long-term goal is to free the working and slave classes from oppression by the priests and kings. This will not happen for many thousands of years, but your Church, my friends, is the catalyst needed.

“Far in the future, I see the possibility of a world containing one class of persons, each sorted into a profession suited to his or her particular talents and desires. A world where everyone has sufficient food, clothing, housing, free education, and medical care regardless of his or her level of intellect. A world in which those who contribute the most to the arts and sciences have incentives to create for the enjoyment and betterment of all.

“A world which has no need of armies nor police as no criminal creatures can to born into it. A sanctuary where men and women are equal in all civil rights and may follow what is divine in each gender. Homes in which every child is loved and educated so to maximize individual character and closeness to the Holy Family.”

As I visualized our long-term goal, I felt the full sorrow of our current world and the sorrows and sacrifices needed to attain to the world Holy Father hope we would one day create on earth. It was too much to bear alone and I fell into my chair sobbing uncontrollably.

It was Ruth and stood up so to pull my head onto her breasts. She said, “My Darling, you are much too kind and good for our wicked world. I know you are infinitely strong when need be, but your center is pure love and pure wisdom.

“I hope one day to love and care as you do; to be able to carry some of the suffering of this world so you will have some relief. What I do know is that I love you as much as I love Ariel and the Holy Family. For your love has freed me of my past, When, you took my hand into yours and took me as your wife, partially because of the purity of Ariel’s love for me, I made an oath to the Holy Family to love you unconditionally and forever and follow you as some plants follow the daily motion of the sun.”

After Ruth had finished, Ariel stood up saying, “Dear Brothers, all of us must swear to do our utmost to establish the reality of Rav’s vision. Even death should not stop us. For it is better to be martyred for doing the High God’s Work than to persist in shame for being weak. I say, we all swear an irrevocable oath now.”

Everyone swore such an oath. Immediately afterwards, a dove flew into the dinning room and began to shine as a sun until the whole room was filled with a great white light. Everyone present heard a deep and kind voice say, “I am pleased with my Beloved Son, his wives, and his friends. I have reserved mansions for all of you in the Highest Heavens. Moreover, I will provide each with a wife best fit to your soul, just as I provided Yeshua my Beloved Daughter, Ariel, and her Virgin Mother, Ruth.

“Simeon, listen well, your Rav is the Son of the High God. So no more doubt and much more study. I send Mother’s Blessings to all of you. God Speed.”

Thomas turned to Simeon , “Are you satisfied at long last, you doubting Simeon. Plus, I am relieved to know that God has a good sense of humor.”

Everyone laughed, including myself. As I stood up, I whispered to Ruth, “I am glad that I am the fruit of your holy womb. I have the best Mommy and Sister in all of Creation. I want to give you more seed, Mommy, because I love you as much as you love me.”

The only persons to hear what I said were Ruth and Ariel. Both had tears in their own eyes, tears of joyous love for me and each other. At last, they had found their true family and knew that I adored and needed both of them forever.

“Back to business, dear friends. This morning, I will send Matthew and Thomas ahead to secure lodging for all of us in the most beneficial part ot the city. Both, of you are to separate and enquire as to philosophical meeting places, public forums, and discover who the Alexandrians are and where they live. The rest of us will leave in two days, after Matthew and Thomas return. Poverty and Humility can pull their little cart.

“Ruth and Ariel, today you must refill your herbal chest, as I am sure we will come across those who are ill. Also, Matthew and Thomas spread the word that a great Magus is coming to visit who can heal. See if you can find a blind man and a crippled man to heal.

Breakfast was over the Matthew and Thomas left for Tiberias, Ariel and Ruth went to seek whatever herbs they thought would be needed, and the remaining disciples and I went to pray in a nearby grove until the sun was at its full height in the sky. Then, off to teach at the fountain in Hammet Tiberias.

As we arrived at the village square, we met the Rabbi and Martha. The Rabbi took my arm saying, “Come quickly. A great Rabbi from Jerusalem was visiting our Synagogue to teach and he passed early this morning. Come, bring him back from the dead.”

“Rabbi, why do you think I can bring his soul back from the dead and restore him to life?”

Rabbi replied, “I told him about our discussion the other day and how you brought our daughter back to us.”

The Rabbi Simeon lifted up his arms and praised the Kyrios , “Oh Kyrios, your prophecy has been fulfilled and you have sent your only begotten Son to remove the sin from the people of the Covenant and the nations. That, I lived to see such a miracle.”

“But, the excitement was too much for him and he passed in the morning,” Rabbi Isaiah replied.

I asked, Rabbi Isaiah, “Do you have a faith so strong that you know that the Holy Father can return your friend to life if I ask Him?

“Yes, Yeshua, I have such faith in the Holy Father and His Son,” Isaiah replied.

I told my disciples to remain in the square and took Cornelius the Scribe with me, as he was writing an accurate record of my ministry. I asked Rabbi Isaiah to invite two or three other Rabbis to attend with us as witnesses.

When, we arrived, Rabbi Simeon’s ancient wife took my hands and fell to her knees, “My dear husband believed in you as Rabbi Isaiah believes in you. I believe in you, Rabbi, for I know you are the Son of God sent to save all of us from the deadly sins and align this world with God’s Will. Please, bring him back to me as he is my only family.”

I lifted her to her feet saying, “A prayer of the heart which is sincere and altruistic is always heard by my Father or Mother and will be answered. Take me to where your husband lies.”

She took my hand and those attending went into the small guest house owned by the Synagogue. I stood over Rabbi Simeon saying, “Rabbi, you time to be with my Father and Mother has not as yet arrived. The time allotted for your death is the same as your wive of sixty years. And that time is not now.

“Rabbi Simeon, I command you to return from the shadows and sit up on this bed as if you were awaking from sleep. Arise and greet your dear wife.”

In a few seconds, Rabbi Simeon began to cough and sat up in his bed saying, “Mary, my throat is dry and I need a cup of water.”

I said, “A cup of water is perfect. Please fetch this, Mary.”

Rabbi Simeon said, “I was somewhere dark and very confusing. I had the most strange dream that I died, but here I am with all my friends and family.”

Before, I could be thanked, Cornelius and I disappeared and returned to village square for a sermon and parable.

Shortly, Rabbi Simeon, his wife, Rabbi Isaiah, and three Rabbis who attended my treatment. The crowd was shocked as they were well aware of the demise of Rabbi Simeon.

Rabbi Simeon turned to speak to the crowd, “Friends, this Rav came to my bed and raised me from the dead so that I could live again. Rabbi Isaiah and the three other Rabbis saw everything. Rabbi Isaiah believes that his son-in-law is the Son of God prophesied in our Holy Scriptures.

“For does not it say in the Book of Anne 12:7-14, ‘7 When evil has fully ripened and infected the grain, the animals, and the waters of the land , 8 when the Chosen sons and daughters of the Kyrios live in fear and oppression; 9 God will send his only begotten Son to bring peace, justice, and freedom to all of God’s children.’

The prophecy tells us how we will recognize the Conrector, the Savior, the Comforter, ‘10 My Son will come with two holy wives of hair red and eyes blue skilled in the art of medicine. 11 He will marry his first wife, who was deformed and crippled, because she loved him unconditionally. 12 Later he will restore her body so she can bear his child. 13 His second wife bore his first wife as a Virgin pure and uncontaminated and will bear him a daughter.

‘14 My Beloved Son will raise from the dead an ancient and God-fearing Rabbi from the dead for the benefit of many people.”

Rabbi Simeon paused to allow the information to settle into the hearts and minds of the villagers. He said, “Let us all sink onto our knees and open our inner hearts to the Holy Family thanking them for gifting us so to be witnesses for all time. Afterwards, I will draw up a document attesting to the miracles done in our village by this Rav, listing the names of all that have been present to the miracles done in our village.”

And so it came to pass that such a document was created and signed under oath by the Rabbis present. In fact three originals were made, one being kept by Cornelius for his journal.

Cornelius always said, “Rav, the time will come when people will demand proof of your existence and I will do my best to be accurate and have many copies made and hidden in sacred places for the dark times.”
